Explore our approach designed to elevate The Glenturret brand,, establish its presence in the luxury market, and create a versatile library of marketing assets for year-round use.

ABOUT THE GLENTURRET DISTILLERY

Founded in 1763, The Glenturret is Scotland’s oldest working distillery, located in the picturesque town of Crieff, Perthshire. Renowned for its meticulous, hand-crafted whisky production, the distillery blends centuries-old tradition with a modern luxury visitor experience. Guests can tour the still house, enjoy curated tastings, and dine at its Michelin-starred restaurant — all surrounded by the Scottish Highlands.

THE CHALLENGE:

The Glenturret was in the midst of a major transformation — evolving from an aging, overlooked brand into a modern luxury name in the world of single malts. The challenge was to position the distillery as both a premium global player and a guardian of its 260-year-old heritage. The video content needed to convey craftsmanship, exclusivity, and authenticity while introducing the refreshed brand identity to a worldwide audience.

Scope of Work:

Rather than creating a single brand film, we developed a complete visual library the marketing team could deploy across multiple campaigns. Production spanned the distillery grounds, visitor experiences, and the surrounding Highlands, ensuring every asset aligned with their luxury positioning. This included scouting the Highlands for the perfect setting for a hero bottle shot, capturing Scotland’s landscape in a way that felt timeless, cinematic, and worthy of the brand’s stature.

Pre-Production:
In pre-production, we collaborated with The Glenturret’s marketing team to develop a content strategy that balanced heritage storytelling with modern brand goals. Our location scouts identified key production spots across the distillery and surrounding Highlands, and we built detailed shot lists to ensure every planned deliverable was accounted for.

Production:
Filming combined cinematic process visuals — copper stills, cask rooms, pouring drams — with lifestyle moments, sweeping drone shots, and behind-the-scenes craftsmanship. Scenic exterior work in the Highlands was paired with intimate, detail-rich close-ups that conveyed the brand’s authenticity.

Post-Production:
In post-production, we delivered a flagship brand video alongside short-form edits for Meta and Instagram ads, website banners, event screens, and trade show use. Assets were formatted for global distribution, giving The Glenturret the ability to adapt content to every marketing channel.

The MEDIA:

The Glenturret’s rebrand launched with a flagship brand video, a longer-form brand story, a cinematic banner video, and short-form edits for social media and paid ads. We also delivered a curated library of high-quality footage, giving their team a lasting asset bank for campaigns, events, and seasonal promotions.

THE REACH:

Since the rebrand launch, The Glenturret’s new video content has been showcased across every platform where the brand has a presence. From social media to global trade events, the visuals have become a cornerstone of how the brand is experienced. Most notably, the videos were featured at the prestigious London Whisky Expo, where they introduced the refreshed identity to an audience of industry leaders, collectors, and whisky enthusiasts from around the world.
